 Esta clase n° 11 y fue subida la grupo de Whatsapp de inglés de 3° 3° el día 15/10 debido a que no tenía acceso al blog hasta el día de hoy.

Will vs Going to

 

En el siguiente cuadro veremos en qué situaciones podemos usar will y en cuáles going to.

 

WILL (or ‘LL) / WON’T	GOING TO
Rapid decision (DECISIONES RÁPIDAS) “I’m thirsty. I think I will buy a bottle of water” (Tengo sed. Creo que compraré una botella de agua)	Prior plans (PLANES) “I’m going to the beach next weekend with my friends” (Voy a ir a la playa el próximo fin de semana con mis amigos). ATENCIÓN: Este plan fue decidido antes del momento de decirlo.
Offer (OFRECIMIENTOS) “That looks heavy. I will help you with it” (Eso se ve pesado. Te ayudaré con eso)	Evidence/ Signs (EVIDENCIAS / SEÑALES) “My stomach hurts a lot and I think I am going to throw up.” (Mi estómago me duele mucho y creo que voy a vomitar) “It’s 70-40. They’re going to win”. (Está 70 a 40. Ellos van a ganar)
Promise (PROMESAS) “Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone” (No te preocupes. No se lo contaré a nadie)
Threat (AMENAZAS) “If you don’t stop, I will tell your mother”. (Si no te detienes se lo contaré a tu madre)
Refusal (RECHAZO) “She won’t listen to anything I say” (Ella no escuchará nada de lo que yo diga)

 

ACTIVIDAD 1: Leer CON ATENCIÓN las siguientes oraciones y decidir de qué tipo de oración se trata según las clasificaciones que están en el cuadro. Si se trata de decisiones rápidas, escriben al lado “rapid decison”. Si se trata de una promesa escriben al lado “promise”. Si se trata de un plan escriben al lado “prior plans”. ATENCIÓN: Si al lado de las oraciones escriben las clasificaciones en ESPAÑOL la tarea será desaprobada.

 

Ejemplo:

8. My kids won´t listen to anything I say.

9. My car won’t start.
